Business World Feature!!!

Soooooo it's pretty exciting to see your picture in a newspaper article!!! You think about it once in a while when you pretend to be a super cool rock star with magazine covers and newspaper features, but when it's actually there, the feeling is surreal! We wanna thank Gianna Villavicencio for taking an interest in us! Hopefully when we open our "everything green tea cafe" you'll be there too *wink wink* haha

So how did this all happen? Well, I was bumming around when Mae came knocking on my door asking me if I got a message from  a person (Gianna Villavicencio) stating her intentions of featuring us in one of Business World's September issue. Waaaahhh so I instantly turned my laptop on then lo and behold her message was there. I was a little skeptical at first, we didn't know if it was a prank or not. We even googled Business World (we obviously don't read the papers!!! HAHA) and saw that it was all legit! The interview happened online, she sent us questions and we answered them as best as we could. They asked for pictures and since we were still in a state of giddiness we arranged a photo shoot with one of the best: EAN DACAY (thanks for being so accomodating Ean! Even on such short notice) check out the article guys! It's out now, you can buy the newspaper in National Bookstore I dunno where else you can buy it to tell you the truth :s


Anyway, these succeeding months has been swell for "everything green tea" and that's all because of the supportive people out there! Thanks to Adrian Adriano for believing in us (Moonleaf Owner). To our new found friend GiannaVillavicencio for the great article. And of course our lovely models: Ariel Diccion, Nicki Judalena, Jed Dompor and Show Suzuki and our photographers: Angelico Veloso and Ean Dacay. They were fine with cupcakes as payments for their faces and talents (We will give you your cupcakes tomorrow guys!!! September 7, Wednesday haha)

Hello fellow bums! Everything Green Tea is launching a new product: "a bum's bento box" so what does it contain? Strawberry cake for the onigiri with matcha frosting, vanilla cake with chocolate for the tamago sushi, chocolate bites for little sushi and of course dark chocolate sauce with white chocolate and matcha frosting for the kikkoman, jap mayo and wasabi respectively. Eat and dip everything in the sauce!!! Sushi has just become suweeeeeeeeeeet! Try it now! yuuuummm :)

We've always been bento crazy (is it not evident from our previous posts?) and now we decided to combine our sweet tooth and bento crazy minds and well... we came up with this. :/ Is it not cute? hihi we are rather proud of this!  It's official, the busy bums just got busier! Today we launched our dessert line "Everything Green Tea" it's our ode to the beautiful and wonderful thing called ~ the green tea.. duh. Basically all our products have this ingredient at its core. We think it's rather lovely to Indulge and Detox at the same Time. Today, until the end of the month, we will be selling our products at Moonleaf Cafe Maginhawa! Check it out:

MMMmmmm Matcha and White Chocolate Panna Cotta! So good :3 Don't you like its presentation? Too bad we'll have to change them into something more ummmm sturdy? Unbreakable? What's the word? Plastic. The manager worries about rowdy crowds and the possibility of, well, our panna cotta ending up on the floor with broken shards of glass around haha.

 These munchkins are everyone's favorite so far... Everyone gets a lil crazy over them. I think it's cuz of how moist they are on the inside. MMmmmmm

These cookies are seriously addicting, hence the crazily lengthy name - once you pop you'll never stop! (where's that from again?) These cookies are made from Earl Grey Tea try them out guys! They are great with tea :) Don't fear the addiction from these cookies, it's the healthy and safe kind of addiction anyway haha

Funny story with these, we basically toyed with the idea of naming our desserts after most of our friends. Plus Cara's dark love cookies sounds so much better than Green Tea Chocolate Chip Cookies doesn't it? doesn't it?!

Well... The busy bums are trying to keep up with the busy pace of everything around us! We bake more than sleep now... huhuhu eye bags! But hey, at least we're doing something fun fun fun!
